For this competition, the judges weren't looking for actual heat, but rather warm image tones. Photographers were challenged to capture the reds, oranges, and yellows primarily associated with emotions like energy, happiness, and comfort. While these tones are often seen during autumn and the golden hours of the day, entrants were pushed to look beyond the obvious images of sunrises, sunsets, and falling leaves. The goal was to use these colors to draw attention, create a vibrant or cozy atmosphere, and evoke positive feelings. Ultimately, the warm colors needed to be an important element of the image, though they didn't need to completely fill the picture
