Caulfield Photographic Society Inc (CPS) is committed to protecting your privacy for all personal information that we may collect from and about you, regardless of whether the information is provided in written form, verbally or over the internet.
We collect information about CPS members that is limited to your name, address and contact details for use in the club’s activities such as competitions, and details of a relative or friend to be contacted in the case of an emergency.  None of the information we collect is passed on to a third party.
The CPS website may contain links to other websites.   Our privacy policy does not cover these websites and you should refer to the privacy policy for each website that you visit.
If you are a visitor the CPS website and you make a comment on our blog, a cookie will be stored on your computer so that you will not need to retype details that verify who you are should you wish to make another comment.
Members of CPS are provided with a login and password to the CPS Website which gives access to additional content and features.   Cookies are used to verify who you are, indicate when you are logged in and for use with CPS web pages.  When you are logged in to the CPS website, this may allow you to upload pictures or submit content for others to see.  Your email address, name or alias and may be included and displayed with this content and may be visible to other CPS members or be publicly visible.  Members that upload images to the Members Gallery agree to the public display of these images and acknowledge that any metadata entered at the time of upload, or that exists within your digital image will be publicly available.
Whilst every effort is made to secure your information, CPS cannot guarantee the security of information stored on the website about you, or information that you may upload or post on our website.  Do not share anything you wouldn’t want publicly known.  Please contact CPS if there is any content you have shared that you would like to be removed.
On request, you may access your personal information held by CPS.
