Paul, the founder of Caulfield Photographic Society sets a topic each year to challenge us and performs cold judging on the night. Typically the topic involves a technique or style of photography that sometimes has us checking google for the definition! This years topic was “Low Key”. Whilst there are Novice and General Sections for both digital and print, the overall winner of the Paul Robinson Trophy can be from any section.
No one was more surprised than Gwen herself when her name was announced as the overall trophy winner. Her eyes were wide, and jaw on the ground. “You mean I beat Gary and Mario?” she exclaimed. Yes, its true, Gwen Richardson, a novice in the club is the deserved winner of this years Paul Robinson Trophy.
You can view all the winners on the night on our Competitions Winners page.
